Facilities on the campsite
All guests of La Nozillière can use the various electricity and water points and wifi. Beware that you will be staying in the centre of a regional natural park and that the wifi connection is limited.
There is a neat and well-maintained sanitary building that contains showers, toilets (also for the disabled), a dish washing area with a professional dish washer, a laundry machine, a microwave and a fridge.
Our swimming pool, which is perfect for kids with a depth of 1.20m, provides for some welcome cooling during hot summer days. Sunbeds and chairs are available in the swimming pool area.
In addition to the pool, there is a playground with swings, a seesaw and a sandpit. In the evening it is allowed to build a bonfire (also very nice for the kids, dads!). Because of the spacious lay-out of the campsite, children have ample opportunity to play and, for instance, build sheds. As from 2018, you will find a volley area and a zipline.
Of course, there is a rich bookshelf for you to find some inspirational or relaxing reading during your stay and you can use all kinds of party games.
Facilities near the campsite
There are several supermarkets in villages near La Nozillière for all your groceries.
The villages of Saint-Mathieu and Cussac (which are about 8 kilometres from the campsite) have an Intermarché, a post office, a bakery, a pharmacy, and a general practitioner.
Also, there are several hospitals in the region.
In case you are looking for something else to eat than what La Nozillière’s kitchen has to offer, you can find a couple of nice restaurants in the surrounding villages. Within a 30-minute and one-hour drive you will find several restaurants that are listed in the Michelin guide: Le Moulin de l’Abbaye in Brantôme (30 minutes), Moulin de la Tardoire in Montbron (45 minutes), and Moulin de la Gorce in La Roche-l’Abeille (one hour).

In addition, we offer you several nifty services that you may want to use during your stay at La Nozillière.
One of them is our breakfast service: when you order your croissants and baguettes (and anything else you have an appetite for) the day before, you can enjoy them the following morning.
Bed linen and kitchen linen are included in the rent of the safari tents and the gite. Bath linen is available upon request.
There is a mandatory cleaning service for guests that rent a safari tent or the gite. This cleaning service is not included in the rental prices.
